Since 1990 when we opened our doors, the Scarborough YMCA has grown to become a key participant in Scarborough’s community. In addition to hosting three popular financial development events each year, we are privileged to provide swimming lessons to over 2,000 children and karate classes to over 700 children, youth, and adults.
With free on-site parking, a full-size gymnasium, a six-lane 25-metre pool, and over 100 group fitness classes offered each week, the Scarborough YMCA has something for everyone. Drop by to take a tour of our facility. Learn more about our membership categories and financial assistance programs. Find out what we offer at our facility. Or just check out our amazing program schedule that continues to grow.
Take a look at our user guidelines to learn more about the Scarborough YMCA. With hours of operation that run from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays and 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekends, this is the perfect spot to strengthen your body, spirit, and mind.
Today, over 220 volunteers, along with 20 full-time and 120 part-time staff members, help serve a growing member base of approximately 11,000 people. To keep up with our community’s evolving needs, we recently expanded our conditioning and weight room area, and added an Employment and Newcomer Centre within our facility.
